Can you scrape my popcorn ceilings smooth?

If the house was built after 1978 and the popcorn has not been painted more than once or twice with latex paint, we can. Otherwise, we can skim coat plaster or hang new drywall over it.


How soon are you available to do the work?

Small jobs can usually be scheduled within a week. Larger jobs may take up to two weeks before we can fit them in.


How many coats do you apply over drywall?

We do a first coat (taping), then a second coat to cover and blend seams, followed by a final smoothing pass before sanding and painting.


Do you use Chinese drywall?

No. We only use drywall products made in the USA or Canada.


Do you paint as part of your services?

Yes. We typically offer painting as part of the drywall work to complete your repair or remodel.


Do I need to move my furniture?

Our sales rep will let you know which items need to be moved from the work area when we inspect the job.


What payments do you accept?

We accept cash, check, major credit cards, Venmo, and CashApp.


When do I have to pay?

Payment is typically due upon completion unless a deposit is required. Terms will be listed in your proposal.


Are you hiring?

Not currently, but we can take your contact info and reach out when we are.


How long will the job take?

Small repairs can be done in a day. Larger jobs usually take 3–4 days.


Where are you located?

We’re located in Chicopee Falls, Massachusetts, on East Main Street.


Do you travel?

Yes. We typically travel up to an hour from Chicopee, sometimes farther for referrals.


Can you fix drywall paper ripped by wallpaper removal?

Yes. We seal the drywall paper with primer, then skim coat smooth.


Can you repair holes left by plumbers or electricians?

Yes, that’s one of our specialties — seamless wall and ceiling repair.


Do you have an hourly rate?

No. We price by the square foot or linear foot depending on the job.


Will drywall work be messy?

Drywall work can be dusty, but we mask and protect surrounding areas to keep your home clean.

What is considered drywall repair?

What causes drywall damage?

Can small drywall holes be repaired without replacing the whole sheet?

ParagraphYes. Small and medium holes can be patched with mesh, backing, or a cut-in patch without replacing entire panels.

How do professionals repair drywall cracks?

ParagraphThey cut out loose material, embed tape, apply joint compound in multiple coats, sand smooth, prime, and repaint.

How long does drywall repair take?

ParagraphMost repairs take 1–2 days due to drying time between coats. Larger or water-damaged areas may take longer.

Will the repair be visible after painting?

ParagraphProper patching, sanding, priming, and blending should make the repair invisible.

Can a contractor fix both drywall and plaster?

ParagraphYes. Many pros repair both materials, including plaster cracks and holes, as well as skim coating.

Do I need to repaint the entire wall after a drywall repair?

ParagraphSmall patches can be touched up, but for a perfect match, painting the entire wall or area is often the best option.

How much does drywall repair typically cost?

ParagraphCosts vary by size and complexity. Small patches are charged at the minimum rate, while larger areas cost more.
