How Much Does It Cost To have Drywall Repaired?

Cost is a big decision factor for a lot of homeowners. I have seen some hire the another contractor only to call me back a few weeks later because the other guy didn't show up or left when the job was half complete. Its important to make sure the contractor is trustworthy when you are getting prices.

Small repairs that don't involve ceiling texture or repainting can be as little as $300. Most contractors have a minimum around $300 so that's the starting point. If its going tom require more than 1 visit than at least $400. If it is a large repair that requires cutting out drywall and masking off the whole room then $650 -$700. To lower the cost offer to do the masking and cleanup the masking plastic when the job is done that can lower the price. If the job requires drywall boards offer to pick up the drywall and have it ready non the site for the contractor may lower the cost. Most stores are busy so a little thing like going to Home Depot and picking up the drywall can take an hour or so. If you have a skill see if you can find a qualified drywall contractor that needs help with that skill and barter.
